Congratss!!! Took me FIVE years to get mine
Anyway, the moment you land your first one, stretch your arms back and pull over. Almost try to look at you feet. It helps you get over!!! I got mine by doing just that!
Yes, congratulations on your back handspring!
And I know from experience that connecting two flip flops is a lot easier than you think.
Just be sure to be safe about it; thats the important thing.
If you have your standing b.h. then all you basically need to do is ask for someone to spot you after you throw your first one..
Throw your b.h. and pause then throw another.
Be sure to push back a lot on your first one and not undercut as this will cause you to fall on your head.
Keep your arms tight and be sure to push during both of your flip flops.
Just keep working towards it.
If you have one at your gym, try doing a flip flop pause and flip flop off of the tumble track onto a mat; I know my gym has a tumble track with a huge mat at the end for people to practice their fulls without hurting themselves. This can be very useful for you as well.
Good Luck!
ok well im a cheerleader & it took me a couple of months to qet mine ; im a fast learner and i wouldnt stop until i qot it ; first thinq i learned was to push off my toes alot ; i think a runninq round off into a back handspring qives you alot of power to qo into another back handspring .
jus remember to push off your toes & throw your hands back & just let your feet follow .
